Mergin Maps is a project of Lutra Consulting, a GIS consulting company with more than ten years of experience in open source GIS providing services such as software development, training, support and migrations. Lutra Consulting forms part of the QGIS core development team.
Mergin Maps is an app, cloud ecosystem and an extension of the free and open source GIS software QGIS. It allows you to open, interrogate and edit your QGIS projects on your mobile. The mobile app is available on iOS and Android and allows you to make a field survey, take a photo or collect your field data and share them with your team. It works offline and is easy to integrate with existing GIS infrastructure using open formats.
